User has logged in to Communicator

Calls are being completed
To and From Communicator
Avaya user can not hear other party

General Settings have been checked
Laptop has been rebooted

On prem user or VPN? Can you log in with their extension and reproduce the issue?
 

user is VPN
he is using laptop for mic and speaker

i am on premise
if i log in to his extension all is good

 
check the UDP ports on your network region against what's in your firewall.
 
VPN users need to belong to an IP network region that does not use IP shuffling. You may be able to change Direct IP-IP Audio Connections to No on the station form (page 2) and see if that makes a difference.

If you have other VPN users that are working fine see what region they belong to and see if this user is part of the same region when you status their station. If they have a VPN IP outside of a range in the network map you may need to add another entry or expand the range to assign to the region with shuffling turned off.
