One-X Communicator on Windows 2012 R2

Has anyone tried installing One-X Communicator 6.2 on Windows 2012 R2?

I can install the previous 6.1 version of the software without any issues but when I try and install 6.2, I get the error below:

"The following items are required to launch this setup: Operating systems below Windows XP are not supported"

Its almost like the 6.2 version does not recognize the Windows 2012 R2 OS. Its strange how older 6.1 versions do not have this problem.

Has anyone run into this or know any work around?

You really want to install Communicator on a server platform?

It's interesting, 6.2 supports Windows 8, which shares heritage with server 2012 so it could possible work.

6.1 doesn't support Windows 8 though so I would not expect it to work...
