When I create conferences the users are getting emails with the number to call, bridge and PIN. One important thing missing is date and time. Is this because I don't have exchange integration configured? If this is true, it seems foolish to offer a feature that can't include the date and time without it. Can someone enlighten me on this because I cannot find this explicitly stated in the docs. Thanks.

Does any even use this feature? I guess those that do have this feature working?

I've got the calendaring integration going and my customer is using the Outlook Plugin - maybe try that without the Exchange integration. How are you doing the calendar invites in Portal now?

As far as I know, the Exchange integration is purely for the purpose of changing your presence state to busy based on your calendar appointments. Fun bug there: having an "all day appointment" with your time booked as "free" and not "tentative" or "busy" still makes you busy in Portal all day.

OK. Are you using the Outlook plugin, or the portal webpage? Have you tried both?

yes I have tried both. no invite. They don;t even put in the date and time in the body of the email. Dumb. Atac says you have to have the calendar integration setup to send calendar invites.

Isn't there an calendar appointment attached to that mail?

No there's not and that's the issue. I makes sense to me the the calendar mining needs to be enabled to do this but there are other systems I install that just send a calendar invite that the system generates without such integration. This is typical Avaya "you don't get that unless you buy this" mentality. At least put the date and time in the body of the email. It's just kind of silly. This is assuming what ATAC told me is correct.
