Gents and IP Office wizards,

I'm really stuck on this one :(

IP Office 500 R7
SIP trunk for provider
IP Phones all in the same VLAN

Call enters to the reception, and all is well. Now when an other person tries to use the pickup button, we have one way voice. The caller can hear the person on the IP Phone. But the IP Phone has no voice. Call pickup internally is working well. Only when it comes from the sip and they use call pickup we have one-way voice

Hopefully someone has an idea, or some tips.

Thanks a lot

Untick direct media path against the extension.

Usually Routing. Etc. Etc. One way speech is well documented here.

Why can't you ask Ava this?

test I have done already:

- reboot IP Office ( since it has worked in the past)
- Untick direct media path: didn't change anything so I had put them back.
- Verify RTP port from the IP Office and the SIP provider
- reboot of the modem connection with the provider

Thanks for thinking with me on this one :)

What happens if you put the call on hold when you have one-way speech and resume the call again?

There's been a couple of bug on this issues so you might need to upgrade.
I don't know exactly which firmware you have so check the release documents from your release and forward to see if something similar is fixed.

Placing the call on hold and resume it, didn't change anything. I can hear the customer, but nothing in the other way

Which R7 release do you have?

You should try this on a system with newer firmware, if it works there then upgrade.

You could try disabling Re-Invite on the SIP trunk if that is enabled, might fix the issue.

Re-invite was already disabled.
I will try to upgrade to latest version R7

Ok, this is what we have found so far.

When the call has been picked up with the button pickup, the IP Office is sending a new "INVITE" message to the SIP Provider. So a new call is made instead of the first one that needs to continue.

Maybe Re-Invite should be enabled then? =)

why not just park the call with a call park button, might have better luck this way
