I have an Windows 2000 domain with SP3. I can send ping from any workstation to the server and I get good answer, but I can't ping any workstation from server.
Can anybody help me?
Thank's a lot!
Best regards,
Eugen Fintina

I have two NIC. One of them is in use, another isn't use (but it's not disabled)

Make sure your unused card has no gateway address AND
Make sure your active card has a valid gateway address.

OR

Disable the 2nd card

OR

Go into your network advanced settings and change the binding order of your network cards. Make sure your active card has priority over your inactive one. (Properites of Network and Dial-up Connections, Advanced, Advanced Settings, Adapters and Bindings tab, Connections box... use arrow buttons on right to move your active card on top).

"In space, nobody can hear you click..."

Thank's a lot ReddLefty! Your last advice worked.
Best regards,
Eugen
