I have a remote user who always has a long log off time from her remote office, but apparently only when logging on/off the one machine. Her log off time is normal on another machine in the office. I'm going down there today but is there something I can/should check with that specific machine? One that that ends up happening with it is her printers don't automatically delete when she logs off. When she logged off the other machine they automatically deleted as they should... Any ideas?

hive problem, registry blocking on log off..
search on this forum for a post on UPC Clean!!

if its not broken, fix it anyway - with luck you might break it and have an excuse

Apart from the above look for an excessivly large profile, tho I would have expected login issues too[smile]

is she the only user on the TS that has this problem?

Yes and no. She was the only user that had trouble but only when she logged on from that machine. I went there yesterday and had the same problem when I logged off from that machine. From reading about the UPHClean I figured I'd try a few things with the printers. I logged in as her at another machine at the office and connected up and logged off with no problems. Also, the printers auto deleted as they should. There is one program that had been giving fits when printing for her, but it did not do it from the other machine. I then decided to not map the drives or printers when logging on from her machine and it logged off fine. I then did the drives, still fine. Then I deleted all of her printers (locally) and added them one by one to see if it was a printer driver causing the issue and that's what the cause was. Once I deleted her printer (locally), she had no problems with the log off and the other printing problem went away (even though she was not using the printer that was the cause before). Now I need to get the other printer working correctly through TS but will wait until after the busy season is over as she rarely uses it.
