On Control Exit set value of two other hidden controls?

IN a data entry form "EnterReceipts" when the user selects value from combo in "OnReceiptStatus" and tabs to next field two other hidden controls on teh same form to be automatically filled. The first "CurrentStatus" equal to the "OnReceiptStatus" and the second, "CurrentStatusDate" to be today's date.

In the AfterUpdate event procedure of the combo:
Me!CurrentStatus = Me!OnReceiptStatus
Me!CurrentStatusDate = Date()
