I'd like to have Access execute code before the database closes or when a user clicks the print menu bar button. I'm not sure how to go about doing this though.

I really should have been more specific. I mean when the Microsoft Application itself is being closed by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner, or when a report is actually being printed by using the MenuBar Button with the picture of the printer in it (upper left).

For closing, have a form open on startup if you don't already.

(Tools->Startup)

In that form's "On Close" event insert your code.

For code when a report prints, use the report's On Print event.
