I have a customer with MICS 6.1 T1 with PRI, they want to send a different caller ID. I have set OLI to 5555555 but the customer main number still appears on the called phone, am I missing something? does the user have to call out on a spectific line? Or does it only work between Norstar sets in the same system??


 
Local vendor is blocking your OLI, you need to contact them

is send OLI (outgoing callerID) enabled in telco features for the extension?
 
I believe under line access for that set you specify OLI, numbers only.
 
Is send Name display set to Yes?

(this sends name AND OLI)
 
nope - that is one place. this is another place but i just realized that shows up only in 7.0

It could be what PERRYPJ said - there is one other thing
just the terminating CO's database may not be synced up.

try calling diff companies - or try calling back into the same trunk
