oleaut32 & stdole2 won't update in install

I can't seem to install updated versions of these files. I'm using wise install master to script installs.

I know i can boot to dos for win98 & me fat32, but what about win2k ntfs?

I am including the new files in the distribution, but these 2 files don't seem to be getting updated.

When I saw you title, I was going to say "use wise". Are you absolutely sure that you are including them and they are going to the correct place. What does the install log say? Peter Meachem

Well, the log doesn't show any kind of error.

I think my problem may be due to the fact that I'm using XP to do my compiles. This is the only thing I can think of. Although this is really wierd because I was using XP successfully to do my compiles, but now since a reinstall...no success. It looks like the only difference between xp and the win2k is those 2 components.

win2K and higher overwrite your "upgrades" at the next reboot. They can only be updated using the official M$ servicepacks.
