I have written code to automate the creation of solid models in Inventor R5.3 from an Excel spreadsheet. The code links the spreadsheet with an Inventor template. It works, but with an error. The code includes a provision to change the parameter source (spreadsheet) of the new part. This indeed occurs in the parameter table of the Inventor file, but not in the Browser pane. This results in the error "OLE link appears to be inconsistent. Change source in the browser." If you do that manually all is good.
Does anyone have an idea how to add code that updates the browser link as well as the parameter table?
