Yes, though the server will not pass SET variable to the work station.
On an NT, 2000 or XP work station, login and go to a cmd prompt. Type SET and press enter.
You will not get these on Win 9X PCs, but otherwise it works fine. Sometimes you need to install WINS on your server and point the work station to the server IP. GlennA
