i have my comp the is working fine and i have another comp that is messed up (windows is messed up )if i attach the 2nd hard drive as a slave to my good comp will i be able 2 get all me info from the second one even thou the 2nd hard drive has a messed up operating system

You can get all the files. Whether you will be able to use them is dependent on the programs you have installed on your primary drive. You should be able to create links to programs on the secondary, bu depending on how the programs were designed they may not find the path to the data, even though it is there. As a better alternative you might install the programs on your primary drive then move the data files over. Ed Fair
