Hi all,

I installed an HP6940 printer (via USB) onto an XP Pro computer to replace a 5740 printer. For some reason, whenever I go to open then print a previously created Office document, it just spits out a blank page and nothing else. If I create a new document everything works fine. It is also working correctly from other programs. All programs print fine to the networked printers as well.

I've tried clearing the print area, and that doesn't make a difference.

I'm not sure that this makes a difference, but the printer is mapped to LPT1 via the NET USE command.

Thanks for your time.

Don't know why this was the issue, but once I changed from "Fast Normal" to "Fast Draft" or "Normal" it worked fine. Very strange...
