Old Cisco 3600 versus New 2811 Router

I'm looking to replace an older 3600 router with a newer 2811 router at my host location. I'm running multilink frame on the 3600 and would like to add another T-1 to bring me up to 4.5 Mb. Although I know I can do it with the 3600 wondering if the 2811 would be a better replacement.

What 3600 series router do you have there? Regardless, I think any of them can easily handle three T-1s. Why do you want to upgrade? What features does the 2811 have that you need?

I have the 3620 but it is almost 10 yrs old. It's a good router. I have a newer 2811 router that I recently purchased and i know the series of Router I currently have is end of life from Cisco.

The main reason to upgrade it due to the fact that the 3600's are end of life..

The 2811 might be stressed @ 3 t1s depending on the number of features/services you have configured. Give it a go but monitor it to be sure.
