Hi
I have spent the last few hours looking but have not found anything even remotely similar to my problem, so here goes:
User A logs into outlook as normal. The user has added an additional mailbox, and is the owner of this mailbox as well as their standard work mailbox. When the user decides that a particular folder (Abcde) needs to be moved from Object1 to Object10 (for simplicity) they right click "Abcde" and select Move. The dialog pops up, they select Object10 as the destination folder, and it moves. (the same applies to the copy procedure from the alternate context menu) All this has happens on the users primary mailbox i.e. their own mailbox.
If the user tries this on the additional mailbox - it fails with a permission denied (right click the folder and check your permissions) error message. Even stranger is that the user can use the "drag-and-drop" event to successfully move the folder.
If the user changes their mailbox order i.e. makes the additional mailbox the primary mailbox then it works. This is not the case in Outlook 2000, as OL2000 does the required operation. OL2000 was running on W2K if that makes any difference (although I do doubt it)
Currently I have a profile setup to select the primary mailbox at OL2002 startup, so the user can decide what will be done, and go into the relevant mailbox. It is easy to say "Why don't you just drag it" but this will become an issue later with users that have a very large folder hierarchy.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

(PS I'm convinced a reg change could fix it, but still need to test this further)
