Good day. I am running Arcserve 9.0 for Win. on Server 2000.
When I try to Restore to a different location,
Windows nt/2000/XP Systems
+ (server name)(drive)
in the Destination window it reads: \\is~(server name)\D:
when the restore starts it fails because it can't find the server.
There is not suppose to be is~ in front of the server name.
When tried on other servers it worked, there is no is~ in the address bar on the other servers.
I added all the machines using Auto Discovery. I deleted and then re-added, no good on the one problem server. Is there a place in the Database I can see where the servers are added??
Thanks in advance.

You can check the registry under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\BrightStor ARCserve Backup\DiscoveryTable.

You can also check through the DSCONFIG utility wich subnets, domains etc.. are checked by the ARCserve discovery service
