ok before I start: Soyo Dragon kt26

ok before I start: Soyo Dragon kt266a mobo, Athlon 1.4Ghz, 768mb ddr, 60gig Maxtor 7200rpm in two partition, geforce2 mx400 64mb, soundblaster live 5.1 platinum.

I bought Pinnacle Studio8 Deluxe which comes with their analouge and digital capture card. I've been reading over at the pinnacle forum of many issues with the software, but I'm having a problem after every time I render a video for output to the analouge s-video port. My system completely freezes forcing me to reset. Now, I've had IRQ problems in the past and I'm wondering if that is the case here. The board is on irq 11, and guess what, so are the built in nic chipset and the video card. Should I try and swap pci slots? Also, is there any way to use the analouge breakout box with other apps besides studio? Thanx a bunch!

No sweat...what OS are you running? If 9x we may need to make some changes. The IRQ issue may also hold water depending on the chipset/OS combination.

Is this the SY-K7V Dragon motherboard? I'd like to make all this a bit clearer. VIA chipset drivers and Nvidia video drivers also have a history of problems. A friend uses pinnacle 8 and has no problems making dv for rock bands. I'll do a little more research after I know the exat model of your board and OS...I'm assuming, at this point, that it's just an overlooked conflict.
