I have a VB6.0 application that includes over ninety reports developed in Crystal Reports (Version 8.0 developer). The problem is that I included a graphic image at the top of each of these forms (logo.tif). I was under the impression that since I grabbed it from the c:\ETHICS folder, that users of this application could simply copy their own logo.tif to the c:\ETHICS folder and then have their own logo at the top of each report. Unfortunately, this application has been distributed to over fifty users, and little did I know, the logo is actually imbedded in each of the reports.

Is there an easy way to correct this? I'd like to simply have a graphic frame on each report that would grab the logo.tif image every time the report was launched from the c:\ETHICS folder.

Thanks in advance for your help. URGGGHHHHH this is sooo frustrating at times.

Cheers,
Austin Moran

I don't know about simple, but it can be done. At minimum, you will have to modify each report and then re-distribute them. I would test first on another local PC to make sure that it works before you distribute them. Here is the technique for having the report re-read an external image each time:

Use Insert - OLE Object
Select "Create from file"
Check off the "Link" option. Ken Hamady
