Hi all,
I can setup offline folders between a laptop and a server so that when the user is away and comes back their files are automatically synchronised, and that works fine. The problem is that on the server, the files are in folders but on the laptop all the files are all "one level" without any subdirectories. Does anyone know how to solve this?

All help is greatly appreciated
Kind regards
Ota

There is no solution if you are looking at the Offline folder on the notebook.

The intention is for you to access the files just as you normally do, with the same drive letter and pathing, as you would if online, in the application software.

bcastner,
What I have is the My Documents link pointing to H:\ (which is on the server) so any documents are automatically saved there. When I choose to have H:\ available offline all I am left with is the offline folder and no icon for H:\???

All help is greatly appreciated
Kind regards
Ota

There should not be a shortcut icon by default, you select its creation through Network Neighborhood. Be careful too as the offline folder system does not automaticly include subfolders. You likely are offlining only the root of H:.

The GPO that controls this is "Subfolders always available offline": Makes subfolders available offline whenever their parent folder is made available offline. See:
