We redirect the My Documents folder for our users to their home directory on the network. This automatically makes these files offline files. I have one user who has a problem. Not all of the files are available offline. He does have a very large amount, 1.58 GB of files. I just don't understand why everything isn't available off line. Has anyone seen this behavior? Know how to correct?

I have already reinitialized the Offline Files cache and this has removed the error that would state the H:\ is invalid when offline. However, there are still many files missing.

Nevermind. I found the answer. But perhaps it will help someone else.

There is a group policy for offline files. On redirected folders if it is disabled or not configured then the system performs a quick synchronization instead of a full. In order to force a full synchronization the policy "Synchronize all offline files before logging off." must be enabled. It is a computer policy Administrative Templates\Network\Offline Files. There is also a setting in the User policy but the computer policy will take precedence.
