Hi there,
I'm running a windows 2000 server with an acs server on it. There is a management interface for the acs server using the microsoft internet explorer.
I was running the machine on an intranet and it had the possibility to connect to the internet through this internal network.Evwerything worked fine.
Today I disconnected the machine from the network only connecting it to a switch(one more client on the switch, no more connections)(reason is I need to test some things/don't want problems for the productive network). I changed the IP address to a 192.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.0.l. When I now try to connect to the management interface (which has a 127.0.0.1 address) on the local host, the internet explorer tells me that this page is not available in offline modus and asks me to connect to the internet(which is not possible). I tested this on another server and he can access the same management interface in offline modus, so I assume that this is not an issue of the application. Scanned for viruses, nothing.
Any idea, where my problem could be?
Thank's for any help,
busche
