Office XP Pro Access 2002 not reading VFP6 dbf

I am currently linking and importing dbf 2, 3, 4, and 5 dbf's on a server using Fox Pro 2.6. Now we have purchased a new system using VFP6. I still need link and import the data into Office XP Pro Access 2002, while connected to the old system. When I try to link I get (Format not reconized) Same message when I try to import. I have both SP1 & SP2 as well as many driver updates I can find. I still have the same messge. How do I read VFP6? Or am I simply missing somthing simple.
