Office locked down

Hey guys,
Recently Microsoft office totally locked itself from complete access. My school issued a computer with microsoft office professional to me and so i am using a school license. I really dont know what to do, i tried unstainlling and then installing a trial edition and the same thing occurs. What should i do?

What do you mean by 'complete access', you cant get into ANY part of Office or that you cant get in to ALL parts of Office?

Sounds like it might not have been activated within the required time period. Take it back to school and have them do it.

I answered this but it seems to have been lost: I'll see if I can remember what I said.

Either your version of Office has not been activated (unlikely as an unactivated version should give you a countdown of the number of remaining session start every time you start Word) or you have a trial version of Word and you need to purchase a full version.

Since this is a corporate version is does not need to be activated. I ran AbsoluteShield Internet Eraser on my computer and it started working properly. I am not sure but it might of had something with the MSO.dll not functioning right. The MSO.dll file pretty much controls activation with office. Even though this problem has been fixed, it would be good to find a solution so that it doesent happen to other people.
