Office 97 - Pivot Table - Date

I have create a pivot table which has the dates from a data sheet.

From time to time I miss a days data & have to re-import in into a sheet at a later date. Once I Import the data, the pivot table shows the data at the bottom, despite being in date order on the sheet.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Click on the date field
Choose XL's Data menu - Sort - and start from there

Or right-click your date field - Choose Field settings - Advanced - check what you need
