Office 2k Install ID and Confirmation Code

I had to reformat my hard drive so therefore I had to reinstall all my software.
I have all my orginal numbers from the first time I installed Office 2000, the Installation ID and the Confirmation code. However, when I reinstall Office a different Installation ID comes up therefore the Confirmation code I have does not work.

Is there a way to change the installation ID to the orginal one I have therefore making the confirmation code correct?

Microsoft comes up with a new ID everytime you perform an install and that means you need to call MS for a new confirmation code; and I don't think they have a problem with that. You may want to go to Google and search for ID and Confirmation Code.
