Office 2003 docs slow to browse

Hi all,

I have one user who is having an issue with browsing Word and Excel documents in Office 2003 on a WinXP Pro machine. If they use Windows Explore, browsing and opening is normal speed. If they open Word or Excel, then select open, the browsing of the directories, both on the network and locally, is extremely slow. I've tried other programs and they seem to work fine.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
