Office 2000 runs installer when office is started

Everytime our user starts Office 2000- Word - The Office installer wants to run and wants the Office CD installed. This is a legit licenced copy that worked before. We don't have the CD. The product works fine after we cancel by several attempts of the installer to run.

??Any fixes w/out the disk??

Obviously it needs to install something off of the disk to complete the install....

you need a disk
typically it needs the DATA1.msi file when its looking to install things post setup

Yes and it's gonna keep asking until it finds it!!
Thanks. I as hoping there was a quick fix. (How about copying some of files from one working machine- these are all setup and updated the same way??)

If not, these are imaged machines, but I will have to get the Office disk.
