Office 2000 Publisher disk 2

Everytime I click on the MSPub icon or the file in explorer it makes me insert the disk to run. it won't let me open any jpg files or any tif files. All the items are installed. How do I get to start without inserting the disk and getting it ro run off my hard drive? i have installed it 3 times with the same problems. I know I somehow can edit the registry!
Any help would be appriciated! I don't want to reload 100 or more programs! Everything else is working OK!
