I have a customer using AA for answer all calls. Callers enter extension of desired person, call screening turned on, and call comes in ok. I place an external call fwd on telephone using dest and route. When I called in to test forward it did not work. After looking around several minutes I noticed the call was coming from ext. 260. Voice mail is 228. Once I looked at the voice mail and turned off call screening for the extension. Everything worked. Prior to this the test call with the set fwded went direct to voice mail. I had set call fwd no answer and busy to none. Originally, call fwd no ans to vm. Is this something I did not know before, often too various to mention though, or is this how it works. No call screening on set to be fwded?
