Off-Net Coverage with a Pause 2

I have a Definity Prologic v6 -- with telecommuting features already in use. I need to direct calls from an extension off-net to specific extension on a key system with a front-end auto attendant. The PBX needs to dial out to the key system and then pause for 8-9 seconds before out pulsing the 3 digit extension number.

I tried remote call coverage, and a vector. Does anyone have any ideas.

Where is it failing? Here are a few things to look at. COS & COR for all steps your going through. The FLR in the COR might need to changed for the routes your using. The time of day routing (if your using them)might be your block. Do you have any remote call coverpaths that are working? So many buttons So little time

If you use coverage remote, you should be able to program pauses in the dialed digits by insertig ~p.

Remote call coverage and vectors do not allow the use of the ~P charater.

Any other ideas?

This is a long shot, but you could try a route-to abbreviated dialing list. You should be able to use ~p and all in the abbr. dialing lists. So just route-to the FAC for abbr. dialing + the position number.

Just a little spin off the last post. You'll have to setup the extension on an actual station, but you can remove it when done. You could set up the number on an abbreviated dial list button on the phone, then forward the calls to that button. I've tested this before and it does work.

Sorry to jump right in on this one but does anyone know how much time ~p allows for... and could you provide a brief example of its syntax? I found it all over in the ELMO Docs but there was nothing as specific as I would have liked. Thanks in advance!

~p is 3 seconds duration. For autoattendants that send you back dial tone I prefer ~w. This waits for the second dialtone. Thanks
