Hopefully someone can help me here. I just used the OLP to grab all of customers data (MICS 4.1) I selected the workbook, set it up, and acquired the data. Here's my question...after the long process, nothing showed on the excel spreadsheet. Do I have to import the data to the spreadsheet or am I just missing steps? The manual says to just save the file. I did that but still have an empty spreadsheet.
Thank you in advance for any info.

You need to configure the workbook for the exact system type, size and software. Then you use the 'aquire ICS' option in the far right drop down menu. You need to connect using NRU and a modem/fast rad or 9 pin cable and a fast rad. If you have a parameter incorrect the ICS will not aquire.

Arr,
I've actually done all that my friend. The thing is after it aqquired all the info it did not place it into the spreadsheet. I'm gonna try it again on my bench system and see if I can pull it from there.

I got it. You actually have to set up the workbook completely anf then go to edit customer details and put the workbook you created in the OLP field. Then do the acquire. The data will show when the acquisition is complete.

NW,
Glad you got it. I use the Work Books often. One never knows to what level to make the first response here.

Cheers

Arr,

I have been utilizing the workbooks, mainly on 6.0 & 6.1.

I have been finding that it seems to be easier(less problems or errors to perform a few partial acquires of the quadrants.

Would you concur?

In the last day I've found that it is better to do a partial acquire when on dial up and a full when direct connecting. Just my 2 cents

I concurr that partial aquires have fewer 'aquire' problems. Its too bad it works that way but it is still a usefull tool.
