It enables you to add your icon in the start menu.

I just don't understand fully how to do it: where to save the file brand.reg ???

This is a registry file.....double click it and it will be added into the registry. (See step 5 in the instructions)

5. Save this file as brand.reg, double-click it to enter in your information, and refresh Explorer (log off/on) to see it in the Start Menu!! This works in both Home and Professional (and probably 64-Bit Professional) Editions!
