My version of OE5 has just been automatically updated from the Microsoft site to OE6.

I have now received 2 emails to which the sender had added attachments. In both cases, there is the message like 'OE has deleted the suspiscious attachment XXXX'.

One of these messages was a test that I sent to myself. I have McAfee virus scan. Before sending this email, I had the warning 'Worm detected'. I elected to'Continue what you were doing' and sent the email.

Any ideas what is causing this to happen and, more importantly, how to cure it would be appreciated.

I have a user that is experiencing the same issue. I would like to know the answer to this one as well...

Ok, I am hoping that this will be the answer that you are looking for.

To turn off the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus option:
Start Outlook Express.
On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click the Security tab, click to clear the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus check box under Virus Protection, and then click OK.

I am going to try this when I get the chance to talk to my user that is having this problem...
