I have a single pop account with several email addresses for several of my collegues. At the present im using OE specifically the mail rule- where the to or cc line does not contain (my email address)do not download from server. Is there a way of reproducing this in Outlook 2000?

Apply this rule after the message arrives
where my name is not in the To box
permanantly delete it
except where my name is in the CC box
stop processing more rules (optional)

Thanks for the reply smah but would this not delete all my other collegues mail from the pop server? i need to just access my mail and not alter the others, if this is rubbish just ignore me.

OK, you're right - I didn't read your original message closely enough. I'm a little confused yb "I have a single pop account with several email addresses for several of my collegues."

I think that I understand what you're trying to accomplish - you don't download your collegues' messages. Do you check multiple e-mail addresses?

My boss in his infinite wisdom has only got one pop account with all of our email addresses on that one account. So i want to download my email address only, without downloading any other email addresses. Is that what you needed?

I'm not sure how to accomplish what you're after.

To recap: all 4 users are receiving & checking messages on one pop e-mail account aka someone@somewhere.com, but somehow you all have different e-mail addresses. I don't understand how this is possible.

We have one pop account not one email address, a connection with our mail server with one username and pasword that connects to @somewhere.com within which there is several user specific email addresses. I think we can have up to 100 email addresses on that one account. At the moment each user uses OE with the do not download from server unless the to or cc contains %name%@somewhere.com, i was wondering if it was possible to re-create this rule in Outlook 2000 as i am having no luck so far. I realise that it would be alot easier and more secure to have a different pop account for each user, but unfortuantely these are the variables i have been given. Cheers for the reply in advance.
