Is it possible to get Outlook Express to download emails from a standard Hotmail account? If so, would it still work if hotmail was a restricted site, whereby websense will not allow web users to access the site?

Yes you can do it, there is an article in the MS Knowledge Base on how to do this but I think that this is better :-

As for whether it will work if hotmail is restricted, I highly doubt it as it is still HTTP traffic.

Thanks jasimpson, I can setup OE to download the hotmail folders but unfortunately, websense stops any emails being displayed!
