OE freezes

hey guys, i have a tech here that has a customer with a strange problem. i need some help before the call back.

in OE 6.0 on win98se when clicking on any web link embedded in a email the program will then freeze.

even though it sounds familiar to me, i can't think of anything that would cause this.

anyone have any ideas? more info could be given but i would need to relay to the user.

besides that, from what was told to me by the tech, they had already went through the basics. thats why there's a call back in order. we are aware of the links not opening problem but OE "freezing" threw me. i'll let you know if it helped. thanks.

seemed to work. so, remember that when a link causes your computer (turned out to be not just OE) to freeze in OE that site and resolution #2.
