Hello all

I have a problem. When I create a reminder in outlook 2000, I find that I cannot dismiss it and get a message stating that the reminder cannot be deleted or dismissed due to a synchronization error. I am at a loss as to whats going on here and would love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers

Are you using Outlook on a laptop? If so, your modem connection may be intermittent and you may not have good contact with your Exchange server. Are you trying to work "offline?" When you dismiss or change a reminder, the info has to be sent to the Exchange server, and Outlook is insistent upon having a steady connection to one available. At least, it never let me work offline with my Calendar.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. The laptop is docked and connected to our LAN. Microsoft recommend deleting the required reminders, but this is not an option at the moment.
