Hi All

I've set up a new hunt group - same as loads of times before.

Named the group, turned voicemail on, created a voicemail collect shortcode.

However, whenever I call this group, I get connected to the voicemail for the extension doing the calling! Similarly, dialling the voicemail access code gives me the voicemail control for the local extension.

The huntgroup is called VPhase. Short code is
#510 Line: 0 "?VPhase" VoicemailCollect

Oddly, the system does not seem to have created the default folder for VPhase either.

Have I come across some sort of reserved characters or something?

Could be, as it shows V202 in the source number for extn 202, may be getting confused by the V, try changing it to something else for testing. What software level? As 4.2 sometimes doesnt like "" and ? with VM collect

Thanks for this - the "?name" format works on the other groups, so not likely to be that issue

I have changed the name (prefixed it with 'i' for inbound!) and restarted everything - seems to have sorted it.

Very odd - you'd think that having the string in quotes would prevent any conflics. Oh well - just have to live with it for now!

I think you already had a Module with the same name as the original groupname.
They have to be unique (and you made them unique by adding a í' only to group and not the modulename).

If you don't have duplicate names, reboot the VM Pro service and it will create the Hunt Group VM Box.

Check the VPhase folder exists aftet eh reboot.

Football is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

I've had this issue in 4.1(12) where VMPro service needs to be restarted with each change in username or password. The most current GA fixes the issue.
