On our process, we use link tables thru odbc links from PeopleSoft which is our main system, to pull information needed for the process. Once the database is closed and re-opened the connections are gone and needed to be re-connected again. My question is how can the connections be maintained to avoid re-connecting the link tables everytime the database is re-opened. Also, the database is in share mode so multiple people can use it. Any ideas will be appreciated...thanks!
