One of our customers is using an application which uses MS SQL Server ODBC (TCP/IP) to connect to a central SQL server 7 (or really MSDE). When they fire up the application, they often (not always) reicive an error-message: "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]SQL Server does not exist or access denied". They then have to reboot their PC's and try again, and this seems to work. Some PC's get it more often than others. The network generally seems ok since all other traffic floats nicely. They only have installed TCP/IP protocol. These situations started happening for no apparant reason (a while after initial installation), and the rate of occurence is increasing day by day. Any ideas?
