ODBC error: Cannot open catalog; Message Number = 361

Can anyone tell me the meaning of this error. The database I'm accessing is Oracle. I'm accessing the database with existing reports but when I started a new one with simple detail layout of 3 fields I get #361. The database verifies, is open, etc. Thanks for your help
