Use setup wizad to make setup disks. Setup program will register OCX for you

There is another thread on this topic on this page.

Try the following:-

Ensure that you have checked the .ocx(s) in Stage 2 of Setup.

Examine the NetSetup report and ensure the .ocx(s) are in the file list.

On the user machine, check that the .ocx(s) are where they ought to be.

If all of the above are correct, your problem probably lies elsewhere.

Hi Adi,

If this is a ActiveX that came with VFP (for example, MS DateTime Picker, Treeview, etc...), after copying the .OCX to the target machine, you must register it. Here's an example with the MS Comm ActiveX control:

From the Windows Start Menu, Run:

RegSvr32.exe C:\windows\system\MsComm32.ocx

As eluded to above, use the Setup Wizard to distribute your application and ALL components necessary to run your application. It will register the necessary files for you. In my program I use Progresbar Control.
What's file ? I must register into windows system ?

Thanks,

In VFP6, the ProgressBar is contained in MSComctl.ocx. [sig]
Jon Hawkins
jonscott8@yahoo.com

Focus on the solution....Not the problem.[/sig]
