Octel 250 to CS1000m r6

I have another legacy voicemail platform integration question. My customer has an old Octel 250 which is connected via set emulation to the existing CS1000M rls 4.5. I am upgrading the pbx to rls 6, and am wondering if anyone else has an old Octel system in place with anything newer than CS1000 rls 4.5 (r6 would be great).

Any ideas or gotchas would be appreciated.

i've seen it done on rls 5 without a problem.. because the octel is non intergrated, it will work as long as the set type is supported.. i'm certified on both but light in the octel hands on

Octel uses 2616 set type for integration so I beleive that is a valid set type in release 6. So when you upgrade all of the Octel programing should be carried forward.
