Right click the text box and select Format Text.
Click the suppression formula (x-2) and enter the criteria used to suppress, such as:
{mytable.myfield} = 1

Thank you. I knew it was simple, but for some reason, the copy of Crystal Reports that I have does not have the help files. (Not to worry, it is a legal copy.)

You have the help files, they just don't come up when you hit help. You can find them in "Program Files\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\Help\En". I don't know why they don't always link correctly, i have seen it happen a number of times.
