Hi,
I have a problem. I have a user who created a flowchart in Word 2000 saves the .doc as htm.
When I try to view the file, all the flowchart elements are bunched in the corner and it does not display well.
I tried the cleanup feature and also got rid of the MS specific references to unneed files.

<link rel=File-List href=&quot;./blah/filelist.xml&quot;>
<link rel=Edit-Time-Data href=&quot;./blah/editdata.mso&quot;>

Still the positioning is the problem.

On the user's site the file shows up with no problems.
I cannot get it to look WYSIWYG to edit the document properly.

I am using DW4.
Thanks
Chesch

MS Word is evil when referring to the web. Dreamweaver is really the only WYSIWYG HTML Editor that will even attempt to fix the mess that Word creates.

I don't know all the specifics on what you are attempting to do but I woulkd do my best to get all the flow chart elements onto drawn layers that can be positioned wherever you like either by dragging or moving them using the arrow keys.

Once you get the elements where you want them just convert all the layers to tables on the modify menu.

Other than that I don't know what else would work. Word is great as a text editor but is a sorry excuse for HTML in my own humble oppinion. Ya' Gotta Love It!:)X-)

Thanks for the help. I was able to teach the person enough Frontpage so that he could recreate the app. I do agree that word is great for documents and blows for HTML.
