'Object not found' creating appointment in other person's calendar

We are on Exchange 2000 with outlook 2007.

Our MD's PA has access to his mailbox and calendar, but last week she found she could not create new apppointments in his calendar. She can still read it okay but when she tries to create anything the gets 'The Object oucld not be found'.

She still has full access to his mailbox as well and other calendars she has access to are fine.

Any ideas?

suggest trying to repair office and check for any updates. Also do they both have Outlook 2007 or just one?
