I recently moved a 2000 .mdb onto a shared drive. my colleague started using it and ran into some problems. upon debugging on his computer i came upon error messages saying that various objects can't be found. I did a search for them in the object browser and they were there.

One possible cause could be that he has both 97 and 2000 on his computer; I only have 2000.

If there is a conflict that is causing this problem, how would I be able to verify that? And what can I do to solve it?

Thanks!

It's probably the library versions, typically the DAO or ADO libraries. In his 97 app, open any module, select menu Tools|References, and see if any are listed as "Missing: xxx", then try to find a compatible one. It will probably say "Missing Microsoft DAO 3.51 Library", or somthing like that, and he may only have 3.56, so look for that, select it, and you should be set.
