Running Solaris 9 on Ultra60. Just changed the IP, Subnet and Gateway recently. My issue is when I us nwadmin to bring up my Networker Admin screen, the system just hangs. I have tried several different commands using nwadmin:

nwadmin - usually works
nwadmin -s servername
nwadmin -s servername.xx.xxxx

I can ping the server using IP and server name. Any ideas?

Are the NW daemons running (ps -ef|grep nsr) and have they been restarted? If not, please do so. Changing an IP should not cause a problem.

If the daemons are running again, try
- nwadmin as usual or
- nwadmin -s localhost or
- nwadmin -s ip_address
