The customer has Novell 6.x version with Novell Cluster configuration.
As NW in this time doesn’t have Cluster Client Connection for Novell (I got the information from Legato that there is plan that this feature will be supported in Q3/2005), my question is: how to prepare the best possible configuration for such environment?
NW Server will be Windows, in the system will be another UNIX Cluster also (HP) and backup of the Novell Cluster servers is one of the key points (and requirements) for the customer.
Is it enough just to install ordinary clients on Novell servers, to license adequate ClientPak and to license enough number of client connections (to include all physical Cluster Nodes)?
I know that NW gives the error if ones tries to backup cluster servers (Windows or UNIX) and no Cluster Client license is activated.
What will happen when Novell Cluster servers will be defined as NW Clients?
Are there any additional tricks and tips about such kind of configuration?
Thanks
